Course description

Eight hours of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) approved continuing education for residential contractors, taken online at your own pace.

Topics include contracts, estimating, scheduling and cash flow; risk management, insurance and workers' compensation; jobsite safety from fall protection to lead-safe renovation; and structural topics including wind loads, the continuous load path, shear walls and seismic design for western Oregon.

These are hours in the CCB's approved subject list. They do not include the 3 hours of CCB laws, regulations and business practices, which only the CCB or a provider under a CCB agreement may teach.
