Course description

Five hours of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) approved continuing education for residential contractors, taken online at your own pace.

Topics include building science and moisture control, ventilation of crawlspaces and attics, Oregon's residential energy code, radon-resistant new construction, wildfire-resistant construction in the wildland-urban interface, and snow-load design for Oregon's mountain regions.

These are hours in the CCB's approved subject list. They do not include the 3 hours of CCB laws, regulations and business practices, which only the CCB or a provider under a CCB agreement may teach.

Licensed six years or more: this course covers the 5 subject hours of your 8-hour renewal. Licensed less than six years: take it together with our 8-hour course for the 13 subject hours you need.
