When to renew

The continuing education Oregon requires

Oregon Construction Contractors Board requires 16 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years. The hours must cover these topics:

  • CCB laws, regulations and business practices — at least 3 hours
  • Other approved courses — at least 13 hours
  • Series A subjects — at least 5 hours
  • Additional hours for residential contractors not licensed as a residential contractor during any part of the preceding six years (Series A, Series B energy-efficiency/trade-specific, or extra LRB) — at least 8 hours
